In 2007, Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance, Guangdong Provincial National Taxation Bureau, Guangdong Provincial Local Taxation Bureau and Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs have jointly approved the establishment of Fenglu's Enterprise Technology Center. In 2009, the Enterprise Technology Center has been elevated to National Enterprise Technology Center.
In 2008, Guangdong Provincial Personnel Department has approved the establishment of Fenglu's Postdoctoral Research Station, where has cultivated 3 postdoctoral researchers.
In 2009, Guangdong Key Laboratory of Aluminum Processing Technology and Equipment was jointly established by Fenglu and Guangdong Institute of Materials and Processing (formerly known as Guangzhou Research Institute of Non-ferrous Metals), and approved by Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. It was among of Guangdong's first batch of 3 key laboratories, and the only key laboratory within the industry.
In 2007, the Industrial Aluminum Profile Engineering Technology Research and Development Center of Guangdong Province was established and jointly approved by Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission.
